Good News Everyone! Spain is now home to some great file sharing news. SGAE (Sociedad General de Autores y Editores) tried in vain to take down file sharing website elrincondejesus.com Before the court case even truly started, SGAE tried to convince the judge that the website needs to be taken down before the site owner was even tried. It seems that in Spain their Music Mafia's don't provide their judges and politicizations with a proper supply of hookers and cocaine because the judge refused to shut down the site with out even trying the site owner. Fast forward to now, and the court case is all over. Not only did the site not get shut down the judge pretty much ruled that all filing sharing sites are legal as long as they are not making money off of it and they are not hosting the files themself (emule and bit torrent sites.) but he also ruled that it is perfectly legal for every day people from Spain to use the site as well.
